Dumbledore has topped Entertainment Weekly's list of the 24 Most Cherised Teachers in film and television. Dumbledore represents everything a good professor can be: a mentor, a father figure, and a friend. If it wasn't for him, Harry would have never gotten over his broken past to become the wizard he is today. And really, who doesn't love a professor who makes up words at schoolwide banquets? The “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” film has been included on a list of nominees for the People’s Choice Award at the 21st Annual European Film Awards . According to the Hollywood Reporter , the fifth Potter film faces such films as “Welcome to the Sticks,” “Arn,” “Rabbit Without Ears”, “The Orphanage,” “[REC],” and “Atonement” in this category. Movie and entertainment site Fandango , the nations leading provider of movie tickets, conducted a survey of 3,000 respondents this month and a whopping 43% picked the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie as the most anticipated movie of 2009. Rounding out the top 5 was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (16%), Night at the Museum 2 (7%), Watchmen (7%) and Star Trek (6%). Warner Bros. is suing an Indian film company called Mirchi Movies because of the title of a film it had scheduled to release on September 12th - "Hari Puttar." According to a WB spokespesron, "We have recently commenced proceedings against parties involved in the production and distribution of a movie entitled Hari Puttar. Warner Bros values and protects intellectual property rights. However, it is our policy not to discuss publicly the details of any ongoing litigation." However, a Mirchi Movies spokesperson stated, "We registered the Hari Puttar title in 2005 and it's unfortunate that Warner has chosen to file a case so close to our film's release. In my opinion, I don't think our title has any similarity or links with Harry Potter." Hari is apparently a popular Indian name while Puttar means son in Punjabi. Source: Mugglenet
