This Friday, Scholastic notes, that "kids, teachers, librarians, parents and friends " will renew their commitment to literacy "as classrooms and libraries around the world take time that day to read for 2,007 seconds (33 ½ minutes)." Sounds like an excellent plan (certainly long enough to re-read your favorite passage from the Harry Potter books as this editor plans to do).
