Downtown Marquette is gearing up for the Harry Potter Festival to take place Thursday and Friday, July 19-20 in celebration of the release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” the seventh and final book in the famous series by J.K. Rowling. The book will be released at midnight Saturday, July 21.
Downtown Marquette will transform into Hogsmeade, the magical village in the Potter books. Activities include film showings, a costume contest, a Grand Wizard March, potions demonstrations, a Phoenix Dance recital, an outdoor Jule Ball, a dragon egg hunt, balloons, a Snape Hunt, wand making, a trivia contest and other games.
The Downtown Merchants Association, The Downtown Development Authority, the Marquette Country and Visitors Bureau, The Peter White Public Library, Snowbound Books, the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum, the Marquette Masonic Association, the Marquette Arts and Culture Center and other Potter enthusiasts are planning the festival.

محله Downtown در شهر Marquette در حال آماده شدن براي روزهاي پنجشنبه و جمعه( 19 و 20 جولاي) جهت تعيين شدن به عنوان مكان برگزاري جشن و فستيوال انتشار كتاب "هري پاتر و قديس هاي مرگبار"، كتاب هفتم و آخر از سري مجموعه هاي مشور خانم "جي.كي.رولينگ"، مي باشد.
اين كتاب قرار است در نيمه شب شنبه، 21 جولاي منتشر شود.
محله Downtown در شهر Marquette قرار است به شكل دهكده سراسر جادويي هاگزميد در بيايد. همچنين نمايش هايي نيز به دنبال دارد، مثلا؛ ديمينتورها، در تلاش تخم اژدهاي مرگبار و ديگر نمايش ها و بازي هاي جذاب و جالب ديگر...
بازرگانان و تاجران و مسئولين ديوان عالي اين منطقه پيش بيني مي كنند اين جشن با استقبال بالايي روبه رو شود و همين باعث شود تا شهرت اين شهر بيشتر گردد.
بر طبق نظر آنها:
" اين جشن هري پاتر، موجب بهتر پرورش يافتن و اشتياق فرهنگ كودكان اين شهر و مناطق مي شود"
شركت در اين جشن براي عموم آزاد و هر كسي مي تواند در آن رايگان شركت كند.
