Harry Potter publisher Bloomsbury said on Thursday export pre-orders for the next boy wizard book are 17 percent better than total export sales for the previous installment of the best-seller.
Bloomsbury plans to launch the seventh and final Potter book "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" on July 21.
The company said in a statement ahead of its annual shareholders' meeting it had 24 bestsellers worldwide so far this year, completed a number of long-term reference rights license deals and was "actively considering" acquisitions.
