Harry Potter author JK Rowling has updated her site with news about Book 7, addresses a question asked of her while she was in New York last month at Radio City Music Hall and apologized in a diary entry for the lack of updates to her site.
Jo has a new diary entry and apologizes for the lack of updates, she had a good reason:

Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. I know it's been a very long time since I was last in touch. I've been writing a novel, you see.
My readings in New York with Stephen King and John Irving were so much fun. It's not often that I do something like that and wish I could do it all over again, but I would have happily done a third night. If you were there, and yelling, thank you: the crowds, both nights, could not have been more wonderful.
I did mess up one answer, though. I was asked, 'what question have you never been asked that you ought to have been asked?' - or something very similar – and my mind went blank. Blame long years of trying not to give away the plot. But it occurred to me almost as soon as I got off stage that there IS a question I've always been surprised nobody's put to me, and that I really should have said it while I was still on-stage. I can't make amends to the girl who asked, but it is in tribute to her that I give the answer, belatedly, under 'Miscellaneous', Extras section. Her NAQ is in response to a question asked in New York last month as to what question she has never been asked:
Why did Dumbledore have James' invisibility cloak at the time of James' death, given that Dumbledore could make himself invisible without a cloak?
Prior to posting this I had a quick look on-line, and realised that some fans have been speculating about this question. However, nobody has ever asked me about it, and they really should have done. Just to allay the fears of the justifiably suspicious, this isn't what we in the know call 'a Mark Evans situation.'* There IS a significant - even crucial - answer.Lastly, Jo mentions in her Book 7 update that she has decided on two titles for the last book but has not made up her mind yet.
